There’s a place amongst the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong that I discovered, called the Chi Lin Nunnery.
On the day I went, there was a slight drizzle that felt almost like mist. And the grounds itself are so serene and peaceful. I didn’t know what to expect when I had gotten there, and was really wonderfully surprised when I did.
Life sometimes has a way of overwhelming us with the little things – dealing with people, the day in and day out stuff that never seems to end. Ans walking through here was the first time I’d felt such lightness and peace. I thought about the important things and people in my life, and gave a moment of appreciation to them for being there. Something I think we should all do once in a while.
